If you are studying business online such as Google Adsense, then we should know a few common terms used google adsense. For more details below there are several common glossary google adsense:

Publisher
Publisher is the person or owner who has joined the site and put AdSense ads on their sites.

Ad Units
Ad Units are AdSense ads themselves. Ad Units consist of several types and sizes. The most common is the type of text ads. At the time a visitor clicks on this ad unit, then (if legal) advertisers will get revenue in accordance with its CPC values.

Link Units

Link Units similar to Ad Units, except that the format is similar to the usual format of the menu we encountered on web sites. What distinguishes the Ad Link Units Units is at the user clicks on these ads, it will be directed to the search results pages in Google’s search engine. New publisher will earn if the visitor clicks on one ad unit on the page. In practice, Link Units proved to generate more revenue than usual Ad Units.

Adsense for Content

AdSense for Content is AdSense ads that installed within a page. The appearances of ads are the ads that are related to the contents page or called using contextual concept. Ad Units and Link Units are included in this AdSense for Content.

Alternate Ads

In AdSense for Content, advertising does not always appear. It can be like this because the advertising inventory related to the content page is already run out or Google can not predict what content of the site actually. If this happens, by default, Google display a public service ads or often known as the PSA (Public Service Ads). Because this type is categorized as donations, so if it is being clicked, this ad does not produce anything for the publisher. To fix this, Google allows us to install the Alternate Ads. That if the Ad Units are made has been set by using the Alternate Ads, so if Ad Units can not be performed, which emerges is an alternative advertising that is set previously.

Channels

Channels is a kind of label that can be given to the Ad Units, Link Units, AdSense for Search, and Referrals. One ad unit may have more than one label, and vice versa, one label can be used for more than one ad unit. In Google AdSense report page, the results will be grouped according to the report Channels, so that the use of Channels will greatly facilitate publisher to analyze their AdSense performance.

Page Impressions

Page Impressions is the number that shows how many times the page containing the Ad Units opened by visitors. Value is not affected by the quantity of Ad Units in the relevant pages.

Clicks

Clicks is the number of clicks on the publisher’s Ad Units. In the AdSense report pages, publishers can view the total clicks that he can get, and based on Ad Units or Channelnya.

CTR (Clickthrough Rate)
CTR is the ratio in percent between the number of clicks received a number of Ad Units in such Units Ad view. For example, an Ad Units are displayed 40 times and clicked 10 times has a value of CTR 25% (10:40).

CPC (Cost Per Click)
The CPC is the amount of money that will be obtained by the publisher when a particular Ad Units clicked. CPC values of each Ad Units vary and are determined by many factors, including the performance and quality of the publisher’s site. But in general, the maximum value possible is 20% of the value of dynamic bid offered by the advertiser.

eCPM (Effective CPM)
eCPM or CPM (Cost Per Million) is the result of the division between the amount of income by the number of impressions publisher pages (per 1000) which he got from the ads. For example, publishers who produce 200 of 50,000 EUR impressi CPM will have a value of $ 4 (USD 200 divided by 50).

When it comes to e-commerce, did you know that there are many different resources that you can use to start or grow your e-commerce business? There are many things such as shopping carts, web pages, servers and electronic pay for starters. Let’s talk about shopping carts and their role in e-commerce. Shopping carts are an excellent way to not only keep track of your inventory they are also a good way to keep track of what the client buys as well as the total cost of the shopping cart. This can be a godsend.

The way that this works is that your client browses your site and simply clicks on the object that they what to order. This goes into the shopping cart and the cart keeps a running total of what the client or customer. This will also include any shipping costs. This will also let you know what you will need to replace in your inventory. This way, you will not run out of inventory. Our next subject is the subject of electronic pay or e-pay. This simply means that a customer will pay with a credit or debit card.

You will need to have a contract with an E-pay client such as MasterCard or Visa which will allow you to make POS or point of sale payments. This is all done electronically and it is also advised if you have this type of e-pay, you also might want to consider encryption of at least 328 to go onto your particular site. This is for the customer’s protection and keeps their financial information safe. There are also other types of e-pay available that are more like a bank such as PayPal and other online currencies. You can also send and receive money by using this service.

The same can be said for electronic banking which also has a part in the E-commerce. Before we continue, what is the definition of e-commerce? E-commerce is simply any type of commerce that is done over the internet, such as banking, shopping, B2B, and airline tickets. When thinking about e-commerce you need to think about the servers that need to be in place in order to have all of this e-commerce. These servers are the life’s blood of e-commerce. Without these servers in place, you would not really be able to have any type of e-commerce.

Before you can use servers, you will need to have a web page in order to put on a server. These are pages that are set up for the internet and can advertise any type of business that you could ever think about. These are then put on the servers and promoted in things such as search engines. Together, this makes one very powerful interconnected set of parts to have e-commerce on the Internet. This is also what makes business and e-commerce run. Without one or more of the components, then you honestly cannot have e-commerce in any shape or form. This is a vital part of business.
